Where can I find coupons and discounts on your services?
Coupons, discounts, and savings can be had if you register on the website. Once you sign up on the website, you will receive $15 of free dry cleaning and laundry services.  You will also get our monthly newsletter with huge savings in there.

When should I clean my clothes?
Garments that have an odor or are stained or soiled should be cleaned as soon as possible after wear.   Generally speaking, the longer the stain sits on a garment, the harder it gets to remove it.  Light coloured garments and delicate materials should be cleaned right after wear, as they are more vulnerable to stains and odors.

How long does it take to do alterations?
Alterations can be turned around in 2 or 3 days.  If a speedier service is needed, that is no problem for our experienced tailors.  More complex jobs might take 5 to 10 days to complete.

How do I get a personalized laundry bag or garment bag?
If you are enrolled in our pick up and delivery service, the bags will be provided sent to you.  If you drop your clothes off at one of our retail locations, all you have to do is ask our staff and they will be happy to provide one for you.

What is the turnaround on the cleaning process?
Turnaround on the normal cycle is 2 days.  2 days allows us to thoroughly inspect, clean, and finish the garments.  This time also allows us to inspect for minor repairs and broken buttons.

Do you provide a rush or same day service?
Yes we do.  If you have your orders in to our locations before 10:00am you can have your order back same day.  If we require more time, we will be in contact with you by phone, email, or text.

When I take my clothes home, should I take my clothes out of the bags you provided?
Yes.  We don’t recommend you keeping your garments in the plastic it came back in.  Garments need to breathe.  Keeping the paper dust cover on is okay.

Do you have a regular pick up and delivery service?
Yes we do, and we can tailor it to you! If you need pick ups done twice a week, that’s no problem! Once a week, no problem! Even on an on-call basis! Just let us know what days you would like us to come and delivery of the items will be done 2 to 3 days after that.  If we pick up on a Monday, the latest we would deliver is on a Thursday.  And at that time if you have another pick up, we’ll take that and deliver it 3 days after that.  We are here to serve your needs!

Do you have a rush service for pick up and delivery?
We can definitely try to accommodate you.  If we’re notified early in the day we can do a 1 day turnaround on these rush items.

How do I sign up for pick up and delivery?
You can either register here on the website, or you can call us at our pick up and deliver hotline and we can set you up.  Registering here on the website will automatically put you on the mailing list. We don’t spam, we send an email with coupons and discounts once every two months.

How do I schedule a pick up?
Simple, you can schedule a pick up right here on the website or by calling our pick up and delivery hotline.

Where will you pick up and deliver from?
We can pick up and deliver from either your home, place of work, or your health club.

Is there a minimum order for pick up and delivery?
Absolutely not! We’ll come even for one shirt! We value your business and we’re here to serve you.

Do I need to be there when I pick up and deliver?
No.  If there is no one there to meet us at the time of our arrival, we will pick up or drop off your order in a spot assigned by you.  Most people prefer the front door, back door, garage, or porch.

What happens when the weather is bad and I have a delivery coming?
If the weather is bad and no one is at the delivery address, our competent delivery staff will use their judgment if they should leave the delivery out or not.  If they feel that the order will get blown away, or wet, we will arrange alternate plans with you.

What is The Preeners policy on data security and privacy?
We respect your privacy.   We will only collect and use your personal information for defined purposes. We use your information to support and enhance our relationship with you.  We do not sell your personal information. We don’t share your personal data. We strive to ensure that every customer experience is safe and secure.  At any time you may contact us with the privacy concerns you have and we’ll be happy to address them. The website is designed to give you options concerning the privacy of your credit card information, name, address, e-mail and any other information you provide us. We are committed to data security with respect to information collected on our site. We offer the industry standard security measures available through your browser called SSL encryption. If at any time you would like to request a service, but do not want to provide your credit card information online, you may place an order without credit card information and a representative will contact you. Alternatively, you may always contact a customer service representative over the telephone.

What if my garments are lost or damaged?
The Preeners uses caution and the most up-to-date solutions to clean your garments as well as an efficient and secure delivery service. In the rare event that your clothing does become damaged or lost please contact us immediately. After contacting us, we will conduct a thorough and timely investigation. If we are responsible for the loss or damage of that garment we will provide you with a credit to the original form of payment for the value of that garment, as explained in the American National Standards Institute National Fair Claims Guide for Consumer Textile Products.

How do I pay for my cleaning?
We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Amex at all our locations.  For pick up and delivery, orders are paid with credit card or arrangements need to be made by calling our pick up and delivery hotline.

What areas will you pick up and deliver to?
Our pick up and delivery service is available GTA wide!

What is ceremonial wear?
Ceremonial wear are traditional ethnic garments. We take special care with these garments. From delicate sarees to kimonos to cheongsams, we will make your ceremonial wear sparkle again!

Is beading or sequence going to be okay during the cleaning process of my ceremonial wear or wedding gown?
Yes it will.  We don’t use an aggressive process when cleaning these special garments. We meticulously go through the garments to locate where the stains and soil are and methodically remove them by hand causing no harm to the colour, beading, or sequence. The process does take some time so please allow 2 weeks for a thorough cleaning.

Can you clean my UGG Boots?
Yes we can! We do however recommend that you leave them with us for 2 weeks to give it a thorough cleaning.

What happens after a garment is cleaned?
After cleaning, garments are all pressed by hand by knowledgeable and experienced specialists who take extreme care into ensuring that the garment stays true to its original fashion.  Our processing facility is equipped with strict pressure controls which ensure that we don’t put a ‘shine’ on your clothes.  These pressure controls also aid in avoiding cracked or broken buttons

Do you replace broken buttons?
Yes we do.  We will replace broken buttons and do minor repairs. From the time the garments come into our processing facility to the time they leave, they are inspected 5 times to make sure the quality is impeccable.

What ‘Green’ initiatives have you implemented?
We provide eco friendly cleaning solutions.  Wet or Aqua cleaning is a great method for this need.  Our detergents and machinery all meet our rigorous standards. All our machines are closed-looped systems.  From a packaging perspective we offer personalized garment bags and shirt bags which reduces the amount of packaging material applied to the order.   We also adjust and map out our delivery routes on a daily basis to ensure efficient and timely delivery to reduce our carbon footprint.

Does frequent cleaning shorten the life of the garment?
No.  Frequent cleaning extends the life of the garment.  Not only do stains set with age, but ground in dirt and soil act as an abrasive like sandpaper, causing fast wear of fibers.  Not to mention, small insects are attracted to soiled clothing and will cause more damage

What causes yellowing? Or an invisible stain?
Exposure to heat or simply the passing of time can cause some stains (which might have been invisible immediately after the mishap occurred) from food, beverages, or other oily substances to oxidize and turn a yellow or brown colour.  These are difficult to treat, but there might be hope yet.  Some fabrics do not agree with antiperspirant, perfumes and aftershaves.  Try to apply these products before you dress and it will minimize long term damage.  Also, repeated contact to perspiration will cause a permanent damage, often seen on shirts and blouses under the arms.

Are the care labels on the tags of garments worth following?
Yes.  The manufacturer has put that there because they would have done tests on the garments and found the best cleaning method for said garment.  Following the care labels is highly recommended.
